A smile, a risk, a heart's need
I'm not used to following anyone's lead.
My instant reaction is to pull away
But something is telling me I'll always stay.
In your eyes I find my solice
A magic elixer to quench my loneliness
My perfect, God-given, missing part of myself
My vision of beauty, my spiritual health.
So He took our hands and lead me to you
And together on a cliff we admire the view
We see the bright future and are ambicious;
I know that soon He will grant all our wishes.
Pulling away is the farthest thing from my mind
You are my friend, my lover, and soul-mate combined.
Sometimes I can't tell where you end and I start
I suppose that's what happens when risking a heart.
